1. # 25 :: Roast Pork w/Bread and Butter Pickles TC Burger with Drunk Onions and Pecorino from Colicchio and Sons, $15
STUFF INSIDE: beef, balsamic onions, aged pecorino
The Roast Pork sandwich doesn’t exist anymore. So I went for the only thing on the menu that could classify as a sandwich - the TC Burger. And sorry vegetarians, this burger’s the reason I can never become one. When you get a beef patty this nicely caramelized on the outside but pink on the inside, you have to admit to yourself that you’d be the type of vegetarian that would hide a side of beef in the false bottom of a couch, behind a fake bookcase or behind a tiny door that leads to John Malkovich’s head. It’s that good. The tangy balsamic onions is all the dressing you need. I ordered some ketchup that remained untouched after the first bite. Def not bad for a substitute sandwich.
