BBQ, $11.75 STUFF INSIDE: house-smoked pastrami, sauerkraut, russian dressing If I had thought bubble over my head while eating this sandwich, it would have been of the Mile End Smoked Meat sandwich the whole time. Can’t help but compare the two, and unfortunately, R.U.B.’s is a little rubbery. Flavor’s there, but it’s the kind of chewy pastrami where you need a jaw like a bear trap and healthy set of Matt-Damon-sized chompers. The upside is that it had the right amount of kraut and sweet  & sour russian dressing. Also, the bread’s nicely toasted so that it doesn’t leak. Which I hate about Reubens. So in conclusion, decent flavor, but mad pastrami will get stuck between your teeth.
